Avocados Packed With Healthy Fats

Cooking Light Magazine writes that 26 of the 30 grams of fat in an avocado are heart-healthy, unsaturated fats that can increase your levels of HDL (good) cholesterol. These healthy fats help the body absorb vital fat-soluble nutrients such as vitamins A, E and beta-carotene.

CLA Fights Obesity and Diabetes

EatingFabulous.com reports that a compound in milk called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) may fight obesity. In a study from the British Journal of Nutrition, overweight or obese people who took CLA supplements had significantly less body fat mass. They also increased their lean body mass measurements.
