7 Healthy New Year’s Resolutions

by Laurel on January 7, 2013

When it comes to setting goals and working for your dreams, I keep re-learning this simple truth: If you want to succeed, you must get very clear about what you want. So this year I decided to write out my new year’s resolutions and post a few of them here on LOHF to get clear (for me) and inspire (for you). Some of these resolutions are easier for me than others. For instance, exercising is easy….getting more sleep is hard. Haha, can you believe that? But each day I’m going to work at it.

I hope this list of resolutions inspires you to treat yourself better this year and work your way to even better health. Take a browse through the links below to see my plans and pictures. I’d love to hear about your healthy goals too. Leave me a comment and let’s continue to motivate each other. Here’s to a healthy and happy 2013!

  1. Meditate for 15 Minutes Every Day
  2. Find Physical Exercise You Love and Commit to 4 Times a Week
  3. Drink More Fresh Juices and Less Coffee
  4. Get More Sleep
  5. Eat More Whole Grains
  6. Make Time for Creativity
  7. Be of Service

Get more sleep is I think one thing we must always consider. We know if we are working, we always lack sleep, that’s why if we have time to get a good sleep, grab it rather than having that time going out and doing nothing.
