TED.com just posted Jamie Oliver’s TED Prize Wish video: Teach every child about food. It’s an incredibly inspiring and passionate talk, and I recommend that everyone watch it.
Here’s the summary: “Sharing powerful stories from his anti-obesity project in Huntington, W. Va., TED Prize winner Jamie Oliver makes the case for an all-out assault on our ignorance of food.”

I know Jamie has great intentions. But as someone with family in the area of Huntington, WV where he filmed his special, I can say that the proud people of this area, unfortunately, resented him because they felt that he was looking down on them. This message would be much better received from someone in the area who understands these people.
