Great news Celia. I'm so pleased to read that we've been on the right path in '08. My team are eating most of these foods. But what about the value of nuts like almonds and walnuts? Do these rate a mention as providers of helpful antioxidants?

This such a juicy subject. I love your choices. I was expecting to see the avocado given a top 8 place. It has such good ingredients, like gluthatione that supports brain function as well as great fat to help with cholesterol management and oleic acid now reported to protect against breast cancer. Maybe this is why avocado is present on most Mexican menus.

I read somewhere to get the most benefit from eggs, you eat them raw and keep them at room temp. I tried that and the ketchup slid off the eggs not to mention how do you keep it on your fork lol

Those are all excellent foods other ones are tomatoes a major source of the strong antioxidant lycopene. And actually concentrated tomato sauces (found on pizza and in pasta sauces) have five times more lycopene than fresh tomatoes.

OLIVE OIL has been shown to help reduce death from heart disease and cancer. Olive oil, unlike other vegetable oils, is high in antioxidant activity.

Garlic is an herb packed with nutrients known to help fend off aging, and other health problems. Tip: - let crushed garlic "rest" about ten minutes before cooking it, to preserve its disease-fighting agents.

Also those other berries are great, however the goji berry is also a great super food for anti-aging - Time Magazine called it the Super fruit of the year in 2006.
