Save Your Sick Days
Self Magazine featured a health update in its December issue called “Easy Ways to Sick-Proof Your Winter.” The article noted that probiotics have many health benefits and it suggested eating Stonyfield Farm yogurt every day. Recent research found that people who received a daily dose of the probiotic culture L. reuteri reduced their risk for calling in sick for respiratory or stomach problems by 60%.
Why Stonyfield Farm? The National Yogurt Association (yes there is one) requires that probiotics added to yogurt must include Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. Stonyfield Farm puts four additional probiotic cultures in its yogurts. Plus, Stonyfield products are organic and the company gives 10% of its profits to help protect and restore the earth.
