Still Not Eating Fruits & Veggies?

Cooking Light Magazine wrote that whole fruits and vegetables are so important to include in our diet because they have: vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, high fiber, and low calories. Fruits and vegetables help our bodies fight heart disease, stroke, cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, blindness, and gastrointestinal problems.

Research from Harvard’s Nurses’ Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study showed that eating eight or more servings of produce a day reduces the risk of heart disease by a third!

A study of over 520,000 people in ten countries in Europe showed that fruit and vegetable consumption reduced the likelihood of oral and esophageal cancers.
