More Cancer Fighting Fruits!
UW-Madison News reports on a study that shows that pomegranates may decrease growth and spread of lung cancer cells and possibly prevent lung cancer from forming. University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers say that pomegranates also fight cancers of the skin and prostate. Pomegranates are packed with anti-inflammatory antioxidants which researchers believe are the reason the fruit can fight cancer.
You can get a healthy dose of these antioxidants by drinking pomegranate juice, or mixing it in water or other juices on a daily basis. Pomegranate juice is typically found in the refrigerated juice section of your grocery store.
