More Food Myths Exposed
MSNBC.com reports on some common food myths exposed by exercise physiologist Wendy Repovich. Read on.
- “Eating eggs will raise your cholesterol.” - Although eggs have a concentrated amount of cholesterol, if you eat them in moderation, you won’t consume enough cholesterol to put you at risk.
- “Eating carbohydrates makes you fat” - Removing carbohydrates from your diet can make you lose weight from water loss, but eating carbs in moderation is not a recipe for weight gain.
- “Drink 8 glasses of water a day.” - People must replace water they lose during breathing, urinating, and sweating; but, everyone does not necessarily need 64 ounces of water a day. You get water from many other sources in your diet, and too much water can be harmful.
- “Everyone needs vitamin supplements.” - If you eat fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy, whole grains, protein, and consume the right amount of calories for your body, you probably don’t need any vitamin supplements. However, most people will benefit from a daily mulitvitamin.

Hi,
I have read your blog and you have a very good post and blog. I certainly agree with your blog articles or should I say issue you are discussing. In fact, you should add more articles with regards to your subject more often so that I can come visiting to your blog.
How often do you find new and research stuff? Are there any opportunities that I can contribute to your blog. I believe other blog readers would love to read more related stuff
