Children Must Eat Good Fats to Avoid Weight Gain

DailyMail.co.uk reports that children who do not eat enough fat can become overweight. Swedish researchers found that eating unsaturated fats such as those found in fish, olive oil, and vegetables, actually helped keep weight down in children. Goteborg University scientists discovered that children who ate less fat had a higher body mass index (BMI). The research showed that a lack of omega-3 fats was particularly significant in weight gain.
